THE TUVA PROJECT 2004

It is a MIRACLE and it is the first time that an American Jazz orchestra is invited to the Republic of Tuva, Russia - SIBERIA to play and to establish a musical and cultural exchange with the native experts of throat and overtone singing.... And it is even a bigger surprise that the money came forward from this asian country.

America is still called for support of its native and famous music -
the Jazz - and to use the music to build a better world... as the title of a song says MUSIC IS THE HEALING FORCE OF THE UNIVERSE !

One of America's most extraordinary jazz bands - THE SUN RA ARKESTRA under the direction of MARSHALL ALLEN - hit the lot and is invited to play at THE USTTUU-HUREE Festival (1st, 2nd, 3rd July) in Chadane, Republic of Tuva, Siberia and in the capital Kyzyl (9th July).

THIS IS A HISTORY MOMENT IN PLANETARY TIME !

THE USTTUU-HUREE Festival hosts many local and national musicians and is dedicated to the construction of THE SOUL'S TEMPLE on the ruins of a Buddhist Temple which was destroyed along with its monks during Soviet Communism.
The idea is to create with the help of the music an interfaith space of sounds....

So THE SUN RA ARKESTRA is traveling to some "OUTER SPACE" -
